Portia Boakye Okyere, a PhD candidate at the School of Public Health at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi-Ghana. She holds certificates in HND Statistics,
BSc Statistics, and MPhil Mathematical Statistics. She has considerable experience in data management having worked in various capacities on projects with Kumasi Centre for Collaborative Research in Tropical Medicine-Ghana (Data manager and a Statistician), United Nations Office for Project Services-Ghana (Data Enumerator, Survey Supervisor, Data Entry Officer), UN Millennium Villages Project (Data Analyst and Assistant Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist), Crops Research Institute-Fumesua, Ghana (Assistant Research Scientist), Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital-Ghana (Assistant Biostatistician). Ms. Boakye Okyere has Disease Epidemiology and Medical Statistics as her research interest. She has attended many conferences and workshops both locally and internationally. She also has many peers review published Journals. She is currently a member of the American Statistical Association
