Dr. Imurana Mohammed joined the NCCE in 2005 and rose through the ranks to his current position of Acting Director for Programmes with the responsibility of supervising programme and project implementation across the country. Imuran was a part-time lecturer at the Institute of Continuing and Distance Education, University of Ghana, Legon. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy and Master of Arts Degrees in Social Policy Studies, a Bachelor Degree with Honors in the English Language and Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana, Legon; a Certificate with Distinction in Community Development Studies, Trent University, Canada. Imurana is an Associate Consultant of 4As Premier Consult Limited, based in the University of Ghana, Legon. He has presented papers at international conferences and has authored articles on policy analysis and social protection in peer-reviewed journals and book chapters. His hobbies include swimming, volleyball, and writing short poems.
