Mrs. Joan Kyei-Dompim
Joan Kyei-Dompim (Ms) is a Lecturer at the School of Nursing, KNUST. She is currently a Ph.D candidate at Kwazulu Natal University in South Africa. She holds MPhil. in Nursing from KNUST, Postgraduate Diploma Certificate in Education from University of Education-Winneba and BSc in Nursing from University of Ghana. Professionally, she is a member of the University Teachers Association of Ghana, the Ghana Registered Nursing and Midwifery Association, the Nurse Educators’ Group and Women in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (WiSTEM.gh). She has to peer journal review published articles and in involved in many research projects as Research Assistant. She is part of the team that won the research grant on ‘Assessing Predictors of Non-communicable Diseases among Lecturers in KNUST. She serves on many committees as community service and has attended several training workshops both as a participant and as a facilitator both locally and internationally.
